This week, we’re discussing the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. We’re talking about The Simpsons 12 day long FXX marathon.  We’re discussing what ELSE we’re watching on TV (including a little Doctor Who).  We’re gonna wonder whether or not the NFL has gone too far with their new SuperBowl Halftime policy, and we’ll wrap things up by teaching Brendan how to behave in traffic.

This week the world lost one of it’s most beloved comedians and movie stars.  Robin Williams leaves behind a legacy of work that spans decades.  Whether on stage or on screen, whether making us laugh or making us cry, he was a force to be reckoned with, and he will be dearly dearly missed.

THIS WEEK, we’re taking a look at 2 of his films.  It’s a little bit zany and a little bit dramatic.  First up, it’s MRS. DOUBTFIRE, directed by Christopher Columbus and starring Robin Williams, Sally Field, and Pierce Brosnan.  After that, we’re watching GOOD WILL HUNTING, directed by Gus Van Sant, and starring Robin Williams, Matt Damon, and Ben Affleck.

This week, we prep for our main-show by discussing old Tom Hanks movies.  We talk about coffee and why it’s the elixir of life.  We discuss the iPhone, and dogs.  We get healthy talking about walking and some of the tools you can use to motivate yourself.  We take a look at the fan reaction to celebrity deaths, and we try to figure out why Jay is going back to the Renaissance Faire.

This week, we prep for our movie episode by talking about Brendan’s hometown.  We discuss the traffic in NYC.  We talk about the goings-on at San Diego Comic Con, Comic Books, Batman/Superman, and the new TUSK trailer.  We discuss Doctor Who, voice-over actors, we get a surprise visit, and wonder which geeks are too geeky.
