We’re watching RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES, directed by Rupert Wyatt, and starring James Franco, Andy Serkis, and John Lithgow.  After that, we follow it up with the now-in-theaters DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES, directed by Matt Reeves, and starring Andy Serkis, Gary Oldman, and Jason Clarke.

This week we warm up for our Mass Moviecide by discussing Brendan’s most recent stand up comedy show.  Jay tells us about how to reward good retail service.  We talk about STAR WARS and GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, and whether or not spoilers really spoil.  We take a look at a study monitoring cell phones in restaurants.  We wonder what to do about people who talk in movies, and we wrap by singing praises to the Prince of Parody, “WEIRD AL” YANKOVIC.  

THIS WEEK, we have special guest Sandy in studio!

We’re doing a little old vs. new!  First, it’s THE KARATE KID, directed by John G Avildsen and starring Ralph Macchio, Pat Morita, and Elisabeth Shue.  After that, we fast forward to THE KARATE KID (2010), directed by Harald Zwart, and starring Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith!

This week, we head "down the shore" for July 4th in NJ.  We talk about party behavior, and Cards Against Humanity.  We'll take a call from a friend and help him quit TWITTER and get the scoop on TING, and we'll wrap with a visit to a Republican radio station.
