Hey there, Movieciders! Just a quick announcement so that you're not blindsided (again) when we get to this week's episode! At the end of last week, we announced that we'd be moving on to our month of remakes, however, we have yet to learn how to count. There IS, in fact, another week in October, and so we will do one more Halloween episode. We are watching CREEPSHOW (directed by George A. Romero) and TALES FROM THE HOOD (directed by Rusty Cundieff). Both movies are available on Netflix Instant/Streaming, so get 'em, watch 'em, and be ready for another awesome MASS MOVIECIDE!

In this week's special extra-long episode, we're watching the original George A. Romero "zombie trinity". We're watching NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD (Judith O'Dea, Duane Jones), DAWN OF THE DEAD (Ken Foree, Scott H. Reiniger), and DAY OF THE DEAD (Lori Cardille, Terry Alexander, Joseph Pilato). We'll laugh, cry, and eat human flesh as we hop from flick to flick.
We're so excited, we even mis-numbered the episode!

THIS WEEK, our heroes decided to take a break from the requests to discuss some serious business. We're gonna discuss each of our favorite slashers. First up, it's CHILD'S PLAY, directed by Tom Holland and starring Catherine Hicks, Chris Sarandon, and Brad Dourif. After that, it's the slasher that started it all. We're watching HALLOWEEN, directed by John Carpenter and starring Jamie Lee Curtis, and Donald Pleasence.

First up, we're gonna watch two film directed by David Fincher that both reflect a serial killer theme. First up, it's the true story of an infamous serial killer. We're watching ZODIAC, starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Mark Ruffalo. After that, we're watching a fictional crime thriller, SE7EN, starring Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman.
