This week, we talk about Ebola (again), clean comedy, dirty comedy, Weird Al, Detroit, Politics, Arrow, The Flash, Star Wars, you name it, we’ve got it!

Halloween month continues with what is arguably the most frightening film of all time!

We’re watching THE EXORCIST, directed by William Friedkin, and starring Jason Miller, Ellen Burstyn, Linda Blair, and Max Von Sydow.  

Crack open a can of split-pea soup and get ready to commit MASS MOVIECIDE!

This week, it’s a Brendan’s comedy journey-centric episode!  First we talk about the Ebola scare and whether or not it’s being responsibly reported on by the media.  Then we talk (at length) about Brendan’s journey thus far in stand up comedy.  We discuss what kind of music we like (not Meatloaf), and we wrap up by just droning ON and ON about Kim Kardashian.

HALLOWEEN’s BACK! 

This week, we uphold a Mass Moviecide tradition.  We’re watching the next installment from each of our hosts’ favorite slasher series.

First up, it’s HALLOWEEN 3: THE SEASON OF THE WITCH, directed by Tommy Lee Wallace, and starring Tom Atkins, Stacey Nelkin, and Dan O’Herlihy.  After that, we watch CHILD’S PLAY 3, directed by Jack Bender, and starring Justin Whalin, Perrey Reeves, and the voice talent of Brad Dourif.

Get ready for a frightening…eh…maybe not so much.

This week, our heroes warm up for the weekly show by discussing Weddings, religion, wardrobe malfunctions, recent shows, and the death of Saturday morning cartoons!

We’re watching RED STATE, directed by Kevin Smith (or, as credited, @ThatKevSmith), and starring Michael Parks, John Goodman, and Melissa Leo.  We also take some time to discuss Smith’s subversive approach to indie filmmaking, as well as his new film TUSK, starring Justing Long and Johnny Depp.

This week, we prep for our regular show by discussing doctors and whether or not they’re in the pharmaceutical industries pocket.  We quake in fear at the ebola virus, but also wonder how much the media is exaggerating.  We take a tour of Weird NJ and venture into some ghost stories.  We even take a minute to shamelessly plug our upcoming live appearances.

This week our Moviecide PREGAME includes Yet another discussion about iPhone 6 and Bendgate!  We’re also taking a quick look at whether or not we’re happy with iOS8.  We’re discussing Jewish Holidays.  We’re doing a PSA on Kidney Stones (prevent them!).  We’re also going to try and convince Rodney to watch some old movies (never seen Jaws???), and we’ll throw a little love-fest for TUSK director Kevin Smith!
