Ep. 10 - THE GOLD RUSH and ANNIE HALL
Monday Apr 04, 2011
Monday Apr 04, 2011
A new week, ladies and gentlemen. You don't need to have the Monday blues when you have MASS MOVIECIDE, though! This time we roll out a couple of laugh factories, but we've got a bit of a contrast. In the first half, we've got a silent classic from Charlie Chaplin, "THE GOLD RUSH". In the second half, we have the witty, fast paced dialogue of Woody Allen in his breakthrough hit "ANNIE HALL". If silence is indeed golden, and melancholy men are indeed of all others the most witty, then we shouldn't even have to wonder why these two are on the list. But if we assumed that...it wouldn't be Mass Moviecide would it? Boxing gloves, ladies and gentlemen.
